They had to do translation and conversion to get Ableton to the PC which means it doesn't use. The other thing alot of people don't understand is that Ableton was never programmed in Windows natively and was originally coded for Mac. Acid doesn't get in the way of your ideas. I find myself bangin out amazing beats in 1/3 the time I was doing so in Ableton.Īlso, I love the output sound quality and the ease of use.
Even though it hasn't had a major update in a while it is great program. I ran across Acid Pro and saw they had a sale on it for about $100 for a full license so I bought it and started using it again. I also was starting to question if I liked the sound engine in Ableton. I was getting frustrated with the way the new version of Ableton works with previewing sounds and just dont like the way Ableton handles built in VSTs.
